In October 2020, the NIH released an updated data policy that affects all extramural (and intramural) research funded in whole or part by the NIH. On January 25, 2023, the policy took effect for all new applications.
Several eJournal publishers on the Atypon platform are reporting blocking IP addresses of individual users after noting a feedback loop inadvertently created by users who have the the Zotero browse extension installed and configured with the IU Indianapolis EZproxy information for off campus access.
