This program for the Maennerchor concert held on January 28, 1878, shows the type of songs typically offered by the Maennerchor during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The advertisements are also interesting. Some are in English, indicating that not all of the Maennerchor's audience spoke German. While most of the advertisers are from the German-American community, firms like Bingham, Walk & Mayhew jewelers also purchased space in the program.
