In 2002, for the first time in University history, the annual "IUPUI Pain in the Neck" award was shared between two deserving winners.

He put on a brave face, but Jerry knew that a vampire bite--not age--was the real reason for the dulling of a once glorious mustache.
Is a degree in Human Sciences for you?
Chancellor Bepko, during his last year in the job..."You want Diversity? Here's Diversity! You demand Inclusion? You get Inclusion!" at the 2002 Explore IUPUI event! <aside to himself, "I am SO going to get on the Board of Directors!">
This guy, right here, is my ticket to an interim president position next year!
"I heard there vas a...blood drive?"
Sign up for this year's IUPUI blood drive. It's quick and you won't feel a thing!
Gee- I feel a little underdressed.
Unfortunately, and ultimately tragically, Chancellor Bepko sees only his own reflection in the mirror.
"He obviously doesn't see the fangs."
"Any chance-L-or way I can convince you to donate a pint?
Y2K blood drive: Explore IUPUI while you're at it; Treats? likely. Tricks? you'll see . . .
Chancellor Bepko to his new friend: "You could use some Vitamin D. Come out into the sunshine! It won't hurt a bit."
No one told me this year's blood drive was costume themed...this sucks!
The new hematology professor seemed a little *too* enthusiastic about his work.
these guys suck
“You think to baffle me, you with your pale faces all in a row, like sheep in a butcher's. You shall be sorry yet, each one of you! You think you have left me without a place to rest, but I have more. My revenge is just begun! I spread it over centuries, and time is on my side. Your girls that you all love are mine already. And through them you and others shall yet be mine, my creatures, to do my bidding and to be my jackals when I want to feed. Bah!” - Bram Stoker, Dracula
Count: "And I would like to thank my hairdresser/manicurist/dentist for making me look and feel FABULOUS over these many centuries. I never look a day over 500. This man is pure genius!"
It was then that Chancellor Bepko realized that Halloween was - 2 - MONTHS - AGO!
Separated at birth, their reunion became the subject of the Oscar winning documentary "Blood Brothers".
