Where do you learn about environmental justice?

What is a superfund site? Where do combined sewer systems flow? Why are some areas of a city hotter than others?

These questions and their answers impact us differently depending on where we live. From exposure to environmental harms, loss of livelihood, damage to property, and resource extraction, less affluent and marginalized communities are more likely to pay a high price. The environmental impacts of climate change and pollution alter lives and landscapes and, although examples of environmental injustice are both widespread and local, public understanding of these may be limited.

You can help to bring attention to the impacts of climate change and environmental injustice by improving one of the world’s most visited sources of information, Wikipedia.
