University Library is current reviewing our website and seeking improvements. We are asking for your help to make the new library website the absolute best it can be! Please consider participating in one of the activities below (or signing up to be a participant later!)
All testing is done to improve the website, we are never testing you or your ability to complete a single task. We are looking for genuine answers that can make the website better for everyone.
Surveys
The easiest way you can help us out is by taking one of the surveys that we will be posting throughout the year. Each survey will be listed below and an alert will be placed on this page so you will always know when there's a new one to answer!
Focus Groups
Focus groups are a great way to be heard and spend an hour with old friends or new! While the user experience team may have some questions to keep the conversation going, we are looking for people to share all of their thoughts about the library with the group and with us.
Card Sorts
Ever wonder how a website's menu bar is designed? The answer is card sorts! These are low intensity activities where you help us organize our information in as intuitive a way as possible.
Interviews
This may sound scary, but it's really not. You'll sit down with a member of the user experience team and be asked about your experiences and how you would change the library website. We also to know all about your research process!
Scenario Testing
This is the quintessential user experience test. Sit down with a member of our team and work through a few scenarios. This lets us see exactly how to modify a specific page or tool to improve the library website.
