UL Welcomes Anna Liss Jacobsen

 

Anna Liss Jacobsen (she/her) joined University Library as a health sciences librarian. Before that, she supported the University of Washington School of Medicine as the medical librarian. She also served social and health sciences departments at Miami University where she established the systematic review and evidence syntheses service. Her research interests broadly focus on instruction and learning. Specifically, she has presented and published on novel teaching methods and tools, improving student learning outcomes, and more. “I’m passionate about helping people. As a librarian, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help learners, faculty, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers make informed decisions that better society and improve quality of life now and in the future.” Anna Liss has Master’s degrees in Library Science and Clinical Psychology (Indiana University and Northern Illinois University, respectively).
