Join us on April 1, 2027, at IU Indianapolis for the fifth annual Indiana Libraries & Literacy Symposium! The Symposium is a full-day, professional development opportunity designed to bring together librarians, educators, and literacy advocates to explore emerging and evolving approaches to literacy. Each year, the symposium welcomes approximately 150–200 attendees, representing public, school, and academic libraries, as well as community organizations and other literacy-focused spaces. This year’s theme, Health Literacy, will bring together librarians, educators, students, and community partners to explore how libraries can support healthier, better-informed communities. We invite librarians, educators, community partners, health professionals, and others whose work intersects with libraries and health literacy to share their experiences, programs, practices, and perspectives. Please submit your programming submissions for consideration by December 1.
