Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives

The Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives (CIAA) collects drawings, photographs, documents, and recordings that span over 100 years of design activity in Columbus and Bartholomew County, Indiana. CIAA’s collection documents the county’s architecture, landscape architecture, planning, public art, and graphic design. CIAA, part of the Bartholomew County Public Library since 2018, is located in the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library in downtown Columbus, Indiana.

The design projects in this digital collection are Arvin Company Headquarters (Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation Administration Building), Bartholomew County Hospital (Columbus Regional Hospital), Central Middle School, Columbus Learning Center, and Mill Race Park, all located in Columbus, Indiana.

At the time this digitization project was undertaken, the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives was a partnership of the Bartholomew County Historical Society, the Bartholomew County Public Library, the Columbus Area Visitors Center, and Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus.
