Why can't I access Library Resources on the VPN?

The VPN is not for accessing library resources, because most library resources are not hosted on IU servers. If the library resource is linked to a vendor-hosted website, logging into the VPN will not authenticate you to that website as belonging to IU Indianapolis - the vendor website is looking for a campus IP address or the IP address of our proxy server.

Alexander Street Videos

Some links for streaming video are not working properly from IUCAT. If a link for an Alexander Street video is not working from IUCAT , we recommend that you go to the Alexander Street Press platform and search for the title there. Be sure to use the link to Alexander Street from the library databases page, so that it routes through our server if you are off campus.
