Media Production in the Library Academic Media Production Spaces (AMPS) are recording facilities for faculty use, with technology suited for producing high-quality instructional audio and video content. Streaming Video The University Library provides access to streaming videos that are licensed for classroom use. It includes popular films, the Criterion film collection, documentaries, discipline-specific recordings, and more. Research and Publishing Services Open Access Journal Funds Thinking of publishing in an open access journal? The library will help with some of the costs associated with your publication. ORCID ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) provides a persistent digital identifier to set you apart from other researchers. It helps get your work recognized by integrating with research workflows and supports automated linking between you and your professional activities. IU Indianapolis ScholarWorks Archive your scholarship in IU Indianapolis ScholarWorks and make it easier for people to access your work, increasingly the likelihood it will get cited and used by others. ScholarWorks also provides users with download counts for their work. Research Metrics Support We support faculty in the responsible use of research metrics and evidence. We provide consultations, workshops, and DIY resources to empower faculty in telling their story. Article on Demand Articles on Demand and Interlibrary Loan services allow the Library to deliver you articles from journals to which the Library does not subscribe, fast. Books on Demand Help the Library to purchase new books in your field by requesting them in IUCAT. Google Scholar For IU Indianapolis Set up Google Scholar on your computer to find IU Indianapolis resources directly from it! Bookmarklets Use the IU Indianapolis EZProxy bookmarklet when you are on a website where there is a paywall, and you are being asked to pay to access full text. The bookmarklet will check if the Library has a subscription to the item and give you free access when available. Open Journals The Center for Digital Scholarship assists in publishing open access scholarly journals. We work with partners to launch new journals, or to transition existing journals from a subscription model to an open access model. Scholarly Profiles as Service Let us help increase your representation as an author and your work in Wikidata. Wikidata allows you to use Scholia, a service that can create a visual scholarly profiles for you and shows the impact of your work. Send us your CV to get started. Data Services DataWorks IU Indianapolis DataWorks is a repository for preserving and sharing IU Indy digital research data. It is a place to make research data available for other researchers to find and use. It is also a tool to help researchers meet funding agency requirements for data preservation and sharing. Data Management Plans Many research funders have requirements for data sharing and data management plans. We can help you to develop and refine these plans, assess the data management needs of your project, and help you to identify data management solutions. Data Sharing We can help you store your data where others can access and reuse it. The IU Indianapolis data repository is available at no cost to help you share data with collaborators or the public. We can also help prepare your data for deposit to subject-specific or community repositories.
